I installed Trados 2022 and there's a technical issue with it.
Arabic comma comes before the word, not after it in Arabic Saudi Arabian.
The comma here should be at the left of the last word, not on the right.

I have the same problem. It is a disappinting silly bug.
Did you find a solution?
Thank you Loredana
Hi Loredana
I installed the latest update to Trados Freelance 2022. It fixes most problems but sadly the Arabic comma still appears before words that contain the Arabic letter (لا).
For example, the Arabic comma appears before words like (الاستقلال) and (الارتباط), not after them.
I hope that you find a quick solution.
Good Morning ahmed shawky ,
Thank you for checking this up for us. I apologize for not being able to fully fix this with Studio 2022 CU1, I can assure you we are doing our best to make it properly work for everyone.
We will consider even more fixes for the current issues for our next CUs as we are currently improving our editing experience while using Studio Editor so different bugs might get introduced (unfortunately) as you can see in this case, even if we are trying our best to prevent this from happening.
I created a new tracking ticket and we will address this with CU2 : CRQ-30613
Thank you for the feedback and for understanding
Lori
Hello,
I downloaded yesterday the last version and the problem still exist, the comma comes before some words not after.
I paid for Trados 2022 in April and I can't use it till now. Please hire an Arabic expert to test the program before launching a new version.
Best regards,
Mohamed Anwar
Hi Mohamed - my apologies for this continued inconvenience, this one slipped through the net and should not have. We are tackling it as we speak and it should be fully addressed with our next cumulative update (CU3), which we are tentatively planning to release in two-three weeks. I tested it myself (not really being an expert of course) and could reproduce the problem as well as could test the tentative solution in a pre-CU3 build. Would you like to join the beta community? This can help us tremendously in ironing out such issues before releases. If so, let me know here and I'll add you right away. Thanks, Daniel
Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your response. Sure, I will be happy to help in improving the product.
Thanks.
Thanks Mohamed! I have sent you an invite off-forum. Best regards, Daniel
