Are you able to establish a connection error free from within Studio?
Can you access the web front of GroupShare & sign in error free?

The detail will help me isolate the issue and offer advice

Hy Lyds,

well, in the past, I received an email with a link to the Groupshare server. I clicked that link and then Trados opened including a popup window asking where to save the project on my computer. Then I had to check out the files from the server. I have never logged on to Groupshare directly. I have no clue how to do this. All I have is this email with the link. The server where the files are loacted was set up separately under "File -Setup".

I'm sorry, I don't have any more information.

In my case my connection is not working

You can take the https address you have an open it on the web and with the same username and password given - see if you can access GroupShare online

If you cant access GroupShare online or in Studio, then potentially it suggests to me something is wrong with your authentication details 
If you can access GroupShare online AND log in and the problem is isolated to Studio only - then there are thing we can do to get Studio responsive to GroupShare.

But first its worth us checking your authentication / log in details.

Thanks for this tip! I was able to log on to the server.

I fear I clicked something wrong when opening Studio while I still had both version (2021 and 2022) installed.

I thought of uninstalling Trados 2022 and do a fresh install, but I'm not able to return my license. Neither online nor offline.

I hope this information helps to get this thing sorted out

Great to hear you could access the web server and log in.

No need to uninstall 2021 or 2022
But what you can do is check what the status is, when it comes to your connection between Sudio/Groupshare is in

It should look like this

If not, see if you can access: 

Trados 2021: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\SDL\Platform\Identity\SDLTradosStudio.exe\SdlIdentityCredentials

Trados 2022: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Platform\Identity\SDLTradosStudio.exe\SdlIdentityCredentials

and delete the stuff you see in it

Then relaunch Studio and reconfigure File - Setup - Servers

PS: I assume you were working fine till recently? I ask because there are compatibility restrictions between Studio and GroupShare versions

Ok, I checked the server status which is fine. It's green and "verfügbar", which means available.

You are right, I was able to work on GS projects before and it worked. I think that I was once asked whether Studio 2021 should be the standard version and I clicked "ok". But now I have uninstalled the 2021 version. I thought, that now 2022 is the standard version. But it isn't, apparently.

It still doesn't work.

If in Trados 2022, you have the

 Then it implies its integrated. 

I was initially concerned as we don't support GS2015 and older in Trados Studio 2021/2022 as mentioned here: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001175

But if you have the green tick, then it should be working. So what stops you from then opening GroupShare projects?

I'm really sorry, I have no clue why this isn't working any more. I should mention that I use a Mac with Paralles, but still, it worked fine until I must have clicked something which screwed the whole setup.

That's why I would like reinstall Trados from scratch, which I can't because I cannot return my license.

On my spare computer (which is a Windows PC) everything is working fine. Would you be able to reset the license I'm using in my Mac? It's the license that was acticated on November 16th.
