Which version of memoQ do you use? The exported xliff does have wrong language code. You can export to mqxliff, which is plain text, and adapt the language code in any text editor, like Notepad++.

I'm using MemoQ 11.

And I think I did what you said.

I exported the file into memoQ XLIFF, which gives me a *.mqlxz file.

But when I try to import it in Trados, it gives me the above error.

I have no experience with memoQ 11 yet, but this worked with previous versions. However, you must export plain vanilla xlf and not the zipped file as you do. Simply unselect "Skeleton" and "Save as compressed file". This will give you a xliff file you can edit in a text editor. The zipped (compressed) file cannot be edited in the necessary way.

I tried it too, but it also gives me the same result.

And even if deselect 'Save a compressed file", it still gives me a mqlxz file.

I guess MemoQ's latest version changed something, which gives a compatibility problem with older versions of Trados.

With this options your file will be mqxliff. Open it in any text editor, search for source language and adapt as needed.

As you suggested, I checked target-language section of mqlxz file and changed it from "ko" into "ko-KR".

After that, the first warning is gone now.

But the second error, "We cannot process the document because of the unexpected data in the document" still remains.

Following your advice, I changed target-language from "kr" into "ko-kr" refering other Trados files.

When I tried it import in Trados, the first warning of "The abbreviation 'ko' specified in the source file is not a normalized target language" is gone now.

But the second error of "We cannot process the document because of the unexpected data in the document" still remains.

As already stated, I have no experience with memoQ 11. Please try using an earlier version of memoQ.
