Hi all,
I've tested this in Studio 2022 with the same project and the same termbase and I can add terms on the fly without a problem.
In the last beta, I had no problems adding terms on the fly...
Can anyone else reproduce this?
All the best,
Ali

Hi Ali,
I can add terms on the fly.
Trados Studio 2024 and MultiTerm 2024 work well together, allowing for real-time term addition during the translation process without any issues (See the screenshot).

However, when creating a termbase during the project creation process, you cannot customize the storage path for the termbase file.
This issue has not been resolved yet.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for letting me know adding terms on the fly works for you. That's useful.
I'll run a Windows Repair on Studio and MultiTerm, then. That's bound to sort the issue out.
I don't create new termbases during the project creation process but I've just tested it and can agree that, yes, the path just goes straight to the Studio termbases folder with no option to add it anywhere else.
Maybe start a new thread to raise this for someone at RWS to help you with?
All the best,
Ali
