I setup Trados Studio 2024 that I have licensed in July this year and tried to use Term base as it is installed in the Package and found it
did not work as described in the manual.
I have attached a screenshot of the Word Search screen of the package as in the screenshot.
Pleasse let meknow how to solve this issue.

I don’t have Trados Studio 2024, but it’s not clear for me what you are doing.
You typed hint, but did you type the Enter key?
If so, it's not clear from your screensot that the term hint is in your termbase. If you think it is, please activate any segment with that term hint in Source (it should have the blue underscore line; if it doesn’t have that undesrcore line under hint, then the term is not there or the wrong termbase has been selected.

But it did not showed any response to the word hint. I suspect that the system is setup work differently than I believed to work.
Could you make me to know the working protocol of the Term Search function?

Yes, I hit the Enter key after I typed hint.
Please find a segment with the word hint in it and check if it has the red line above the term. Sorry, I’ve just checked that i had said blue underscore, which is not correct. You didn’t say anything about this.
Also check if there is a termbase attached to your Project Settings and Enabled ticked:
