Hi, I've been using Studio 2024 for less than a week but I'm already experiencing things I cannot explain. Perhaps somebody can.
The Ctrl + Shift + T shortcut doesn't always work. Sometimes it triggers a screen capture function (which otherwise I haven't even found in the documentation and I know that this combination is not assigned to anything else but the Split segment command). Why is it happening? Have I activated some alternative mode in Trados?

You can check which key shortcut is associated with which function by going to "Options - Keyboard shortcuts".
The default shortcut for Split segment is Alt+Shift+T and not CTRL+Shift+T.
If you see different assignments, it may be due to the fact that you selected the User profile "Trados" instead of "Default" at installation time.
Please check which user profile you use by going to "File - Setup - Manage User Profiles" and check that it is set to "Default". If that is not the case, select "Change user profile" and revert to "Default":

Thanks you for the prompt reply, and sorry for the inaccuracy. I meant Alt+Shift+T and I have the Default setting as my user profile. I'm getting used to the shortcuts, and that may've been why I mistyped it. So, I'm using Alt+Shift+T. I'll try to provide a screenshot when it does it again. Right now, it's working fine.

Sounds like you have another piece of software that reacts to this key combination. This would explain why it happens only sometimes (probably when that software is running).

That did come across my mind, but I was only suspicious of Lightshot, which could not have been it. Now I've checked all the applications that typically run in the background and it turns out that ZOOM DID IT.
