This depends on which version of Trados you are using. The most recent versions have a built-in advanced search filter, accessible via the View tab:

I have it open permanently because I use it very frequently:

As you can see, it allows for Source and Target searches, along with lots of other useful functionality.

If you have an earlier version of Trados, you can download the Advance Display Filter from the online AppStore.

This is easy to achieve.Select the "Advanced display filter" in the View tab of the ribbon.

You have many options to filter, and then browse the filtered segments in the editor.
