I have a client who sends me a package with a Word file in it every Monday. It used to work fine with Trados 2021. Since I upgraded to 2024, I can now no longer export the files in these packages. It says An error has occurred when I try. I can however create a return package. I do not have this problem with packages from any other clients.
Almost certainly because the packages contain sdlxliff files that were created by an old version of Trados Studio that is no longer supported in 2024. So you can return the translated package and your client will have to do the exports.
