I get that message while trying to create a project in Studio 2024 with an idml. The InDesign file dosn't have any tracked change. What do I need to do to make it work? Thanks.
Full error message: "Cannot open this document because the tracked changes it contains cannot be merged automatically. Accept or reject all changes in InDesign then open the document again. You have pending changes on the following pages: 10, 11."
There are no changes. I asked the Designer to make sure, she saved another version. I went in the file, verified multiple times, there are simply no tracked changes.
Hard to say without actually seeing your file, but I can create a file with several layers, lock the layer with the tracked changes on and select the other as the active layer. Then call up the menu you did and see what you saw. And yet the file has tracked changes:

There is only one layer, according to the Layers window.
