Error importing COTI package / Kaleidoscope.Common.Utils... not found...

Hi,

I received a COTI package for the first time, installed COTI but get this error when importing it to Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.1.2259.

Error dialog box in Trados Studio indicating a missing file or assembly 'Kaleidoscope.Common.Utils, Version=1.1.0.0' or one of its dependencies.

Any idea?

Best Regards, Burim

    Hello Burim,

The error you're encountering might be due to a missing or incompatible plugin. Here are some steps you can try:

Step 1: Ensure that you have the latest version of the COTI plugin installed. You can check for updates within the application.

Step 2: If you have the latest version of the plugin, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Sometimes, files can become corrupted and a fresh install can fix the issue.

Step 3: If the error persists, it might be due to an issue with Trados Studio. Try updating Trados Studio to the latest version.

Step 4: If none of the above steps work, it might be a compatibility issue with Trados Studio 2024 - 18.0.1.2259 and the COTI plugin. You might need to downgrade to an earlier version of Trados Studio or wait for an update to the COTI plugin.
