For whatever reason, when placing the cursor to the right of a formatting tag such as in the screenshot provided, either by clicking directly on that space with the mouse or moving the cursor with the arrow keys from above or below that space, the user can't move the cursor to the right (i.e. past the "a" here) nor can they use the delete key to delete the letter. One can get the cursor unstuck by using the left arrow key, then right again.

I've seen a similar report was made a few months ago but only got a fairly dismissive response. I believe that at a time when linguists are asked to work smarter and faster, it's a bug worth looking into. Nevermind the fact that it can lead to mistakes and typos.
