Check Spelling (Language not supported)

Question

Hi! After installing Service Release 2 (SR2), I'm not able to use MS Word Spell checker. It shows "Check Spelling (Language not supported). I have Office 365 ProPlus and Office Professional Plus 2010 installed in my PC. Any suggestion? Thanks!

Hi Hector, 
 If Walter's suggestion doesn't work, you could try switching to Hunspell instead of Word for spellchecking (Options-Editor-Spelling). If your language variants happen to be ES-LA and ES-US, however, they won't be supported out of the box and you'll need to "hack" the Hunspell files. Please let me know if this is the case and if you'd like instructions on how to do this.

The language is available and installed. However, I have found out the cause of the trouble in the meantime - my laptop is refurbished and there was an old copy of MS Office without Czech installed, which was causing all the trouble.

Does your Office support the languages you have in the language pair of your project? Check this first and install the required languages. 
There may also be a conflict between the two installed Office versions. Why do you leave two versions of Office installed at the same time on your PC? this is only calling for trouble.
