Language Processing Rules (Language Resources)

...are absolutely essential to the proper functioning of Trados Studio and Trados Cloud Capabilities.

Language Processing Rules (LPR), control the process of segmenting the source document, ready for translation (and saving to the TM for reuse).

These rules are stored in the form of lists and rules (exceptions).

RWS provides a default LPR for each language pair that you work with, which in many cases will be sufficient-

This default template will recognize (language-specific)
