&lt;p&gt;Language Processing Rules (LPR), control the process of segmenting the source document, ready for translation (and saving to the TM for reuse).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;These rules are stored in the form of lists and rules (exceptions).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;RWS provides a default LPR for each language pair that you work with, which in many cases will be sufficient-&lt;/p&gt;
