RE: This update in the latest patch: (54654) In-context exact matches display as a separate band in the analysis results.
How can you distinguish between ICE matches and 100% exact matches in the Web Editor? We can see that both bands are flagged as 100% match.
Update on this. The SDL support team explained a workaround where you can set a bonus to ICE matches so that in the WE, the segments can be marked as 100% +. For example, a bonus of 1 would mark them as 101% matches.
However, in the Translation Agent they are still marked as 100% matches and there is no way to filter on ICE matches. Some considerations that I believe would help:
- option to lock ICE matches (and other bands) during pre translation
- mark ICE matches as 'ICE' in the Translation Agent
- be able to filter by ICE matches in the WE
Is anything like this on the development roadmap?
Thanks,
Tom
Hi Tom,
The feedback is well received. We have no work immediately scheduled for this but will track it for future developments.
Shirley
Hi Shirley,
I just wondered if this feature is scheduled yet for future developments and if so, when is it likely to be released?
Laura
Hi Laura,
It is not yet scheduled so I don't have a release timeline for you, I'll notify you through the Community once it's planned.
Regards,
Hi Shirley, has there been any updates on this, please?
Hi Kamil, no updates yet, I'll post here when there is.
