Hi Eric,

This is our intention, to have all features of legacy filter, which are used, covered by FTS in the next 18 months.

I will appreciate a lot if you can provide me a list of missed features from FTS and their priority for LDS.

I guess having the filters not come from the open exchange is fine, the problem i am trying to get at is that legacy filters shouldn't be removed until their feature-set has been caught up with by the FTS filters. For example, SID support was only added in the last year and only for two file types.

Hi Eric,

JSON filter will be included in core product starting with next WS release. To include other filters found on SDL open exchange is not possible as we don't have the framework prepared to do it.

Will there be the ability to add new filters (not configurations of filters) to WorldServer FTS filters like the JSON filter found on the SDL open exchange? This ability is one that i have yet to see as possible in WorldServer when using the FTS filters. The legacy filters allow this and the SDK allow this.
