RWS Community itself will continue the Hello World rebranding, where many of those points will either be addressed are at least looked at. We're also free to submit ideas for the platform . And that relationship between UX and accessibility is something that's come up with the product and in discussions with Tasmin and Danielle . The Tridion user interfaces themselves have had usability features like keyboard support as well as "accessibility" improvements for things like improved contrast. And the Genius portal aims to meet accessibility requirements but also offer a responsive design across devices for a better experience beyond "just" compliance.

Excellent post Alvin Reyes . We could however "heal thyself" a little bit on this page by redesigning it for contrast, text size, colours, and the Options section being more visible although that might be more UX than accessibility . First was my own research into Section 508 and accessibility compliance for healthcare websites, followed by accessibility requirements from consulting and creating content models across many Content Management implementations, and then usability and accessibility requirements in our user interface itself. Those who know Tridion, Content Management, and/or Web development in general, are likely already familiar with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and perhaps regulation like Section 508 or the more recent, European Accessibility Act . There are also great resources on good web practices like A List Apart among many others. Tridion customers and partners should also know Tridion Sites and Tridion Docs have the content modeling, metadata, and delivery features to help organizations create accessible experiences, meeting the level of compliance sought. What you might not know is that RWS itself can help on your journey towards accessibility. This short post shares some of the information, videos, and services available to organizations, whether or not you're using Tridion or not. First of all, learn about the European Accessibility act from Amanda Alvarado to learn about its requirements and how it's more than just compliance. The regulation can be an opportunity for better customer experiences while making both business and social impacts. RWS Accessibility Services offers compliance assessments, accessibility strategy, and remediation services. I appreciate the full offering and especially the assessment (sometimes called an "accessibility audit") since one potential trap with meeting regulatory requirements isn't making the changes. The potential pitfall is making the wrong changes, perhaps even overspending on things that don't necessarily address the rules or don't actually help your users. Whether through RWS or another company, I highly recommend evaluating where you are in terms of current digital experiences before committing time and your backlog to addressing accessibility compliance. Confirm which experiences, what level of support, and perhaps even which browsers apply since at the end of the day, compliance will be a combination of perhaps automated tests and manual checks against your user interfaces in all their forms. And if needed, here's a PDF brochure describing the services . Though perhaps you and your team would appreciate watching a webinar about the EU Accessibility Act . After confirming your current accessibility level for your own experiences, then perhaps consider tooling, whether that's integrated into your CMS like Tridion partner AAANow or something else you run at a different step in your content supply chain. Have you evaluated your website or digital experience for accessibility compliance? How did it go? What advice could you share with others? Or might you have other questions? Feel free to ask in the forum! I'm inviting more customers and experts to continue the conversation and celebrate your successes with accessibility and all the other challenging content requirements. Thanks for championing accessibility!

Forum Post: RE: What are your official and unofficial job titles?

Let's add Docitect to the list! "Say hello to the Docitect — a bold new breed of technical communicator who doesn’t just write instructions but architects understanding at scale."

Blog Post: Hello, welcome to Content Champions!

I introduced this new group in a post titled Customer Advocacy for Tridion , under the general Tridion group. But I wanted to say hello here. Thank you for letting us help you manage your content. Or if you don't use a Tridion product, thank you for checking out Content Champions! My name is Alvin Reyes; I'm a Customer Engagement Manager with the Tridion part of RWS. I've been working with content management and content delivery technology since 2005, first working with Tridion in 2008 as an organization looking for a Content Management System (CMS) that didn't take over your web application. Impressed by the product and team, I joined the Tridion team in 2011 and have consulted as a business analyst, managed some parts of Tridion as a product owner, and improved content supply chains as a business architect before moving into this community and customer-facing role. I want you to get the best experience out of your relationships with our products and from my own background I truly believe that includes learning from and sharing with others facing similar challenges. Back in 2008, some of the many challenges to managing content included project management, agile practices, content strategy, mobile devices, digital accessibility, and the social web. Now in 2025, top trends and challenges include familiar topics such as content operations, design systems, privacy, and accessibility (again) as well as the latest generative AI developments. Do you wonder how others have addressed these challenges? Do you have successes you'd be interested in helping other with? Do you feel an online forum discussion or question be a good place to learn how others managed their challenging problems? We of course have groups specifically for users and developers for Tridion Docs and Tridion Sites on RWS Community. There's even a Tridion Stack Exchange . These groups are great for getting help with product functionality, how to use APIs, and guidance outside of a project with a partner, Professional Services, or Support. Knowing how to ask questions the smart way is perfect for these groups. RWS Community also feature the ability to make enhancement requests through RWS Ideas. I've created Content Champions specifically to take a broader look at some of the challenges and to celebrate your successes. I'd like us to go a bit beyond product while still keeping technology and content management system capabilities in mind. It doesn't matter if you use a Web Content Management System or a Component Content Management System, in the end you're dealing with tight deadlines, pressure from stakeholders, multiple teams and a variety of content types across your content supply chains. Was there a topic I didn't mention? Are you ready to join the discussion? And if you didn't catch our updated branding, hello from RWS as well.

Forum Post: Where can AI have the most impact on your content supply chain?

Blog Post: AI's impact on content management jobs

I've been hearing this expression at conferences such as ConVEx 2025 : "AI won't replace your job. Someone who knows how to use AI will replace your job." This is a good point for everyone to keep up with technology, their skills, and the latest in AI capabilities. The role changes are not a complete replacement, but rather there we're seeing new roles and jobs. Perhaps the number of people in each role will change. As an example, "go the way of the horse and carriage" is an idiom that suggests something has gone obsolete. However, there are still some jobs for horse drawn carriages on Indeed.com . In localization, the machines or even the software didn't replace all translators. I had a friend outside of work that recognized Trados Studio as translation software but didn't use it herself. Even in processes that involve machine translation, humans may be involved in adjusting desktop files (desktop publishing), managing the project, or translating after translation memory and machines have made a first pass at the translation segments. Read my post on the cost of translations for a bit more context on the process for content champions, with the caveat that I'm familiar with translation from a business architecture, content supply chain perspective, and even product integration perspectives, but I don't have the personal background in it. And if we look at roles in localization includes people who translate content often, but not always with computer assisted translation (CAT) tools. Translators might focus on editing content that is already translated in a step called post-editing and there's a lot of content or digital files that require desktop publishing to manipulate files. And even as we see how AI could refine automatic post editing through private LLMs, there are still people involved in the content supply chain. As another example, in Web development, there was a time when it seemed we just had webmasters, who were responsible for managing websites down to hand-coded HTML files. But over time, the roles and specialties grew and grew, to where you have roles and supporting technology for: Frontend and backend development Architects Operations, infrastructure, and cloud-related roles Content and/or technical writers Content operations Project managers Product owners, product managers, (product) platform owners Even customer experience, user experience, and user interface are slightly different aspects of what customers experience with even more focuses in each of these roles (e.g., designers and researchers). AI may consume content you create, but it cannot replace the ultimate humans than need content, even if the content supply chain itself is augmented or assisted by AI. What do you think about AI's role in content-related work? Is AI already part of your job? Will the next generation of workers actually be Generation AI, the Gen AI natives similar to the digital natives before them? Join Content Champions to leave a welcome comment below, otherwise see my original post about AI and content-related job roles on Linked-In if you want to have a more public conversation.

Forum Post: What are your official and unofficial job titles?

Tell us about yourself!
