As indicated earlier  RE: Can I harness value of processing instruction like  

xm-replace_text is an xml processing instruction from JustSystems XMetaL, hence the "xm" prefix. I don't think Oxygen does anything with that? Or am I misunderstanding the question?

I just want to find out if there is any other way to achieve the required result i.e. where the title of the xref'd topic shows in Pub Man after the local xref was added via an Oxygen editor.

I must test and see what is shown in HTML view in Pub Man if I add a local xref via Draft Space, or maybe you can advise?
