I have downloaded and installed the above-referenced app, but nothing happens whether I double click on its icon or 'run as administrator'.
I use Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.9.9198.

You can expect a new release of this app shortly. It's been progressively less reliable over the years, but as it's a really good idea we have spent some time reworking it with some significant changes under the hood. I expect it will be released in a matter of days now.
Apologies for the current inconvenience, but I hope the wait will have been worth it!

Wow! Good news. Thank you Paul
HI Paul
I guess "local admin rights" user requirement will not be changed in this updated release?
What about to add some info on the T_Window community page or change log ... https://community.rws.com/product-groups/trados-portfolio/trados-studio/w/customer-experience/5426/trados-t-window-for-clipboard
This local admin requirement is an issue within controlled environments - Corporates, Gov.
Thank you.

We'll take a look at it. We've opened up a real can of worms as the original application wasn't particularly well made and over the years different developers (with varying degrees of experience) have amended it. The result today is we are having to undo a lot of the way it worked to be able to fix it properly. Taking much longer than we first thought and we have a very experienced developer working on it this time.
So as we're still on it, I have asked the developer to look at admin restrictions as well.

Thank you for the update.
just FYI... I checked the Trados T-window for Clipboard that came with Studio 2017 SR1 and that one worked without asking for local admin rights on Win10.
It also works with server based TM's on Groupshare 2014 server. :-)
I appreciate that you don't want to go 5+ years back with code review... but it would be nice if you and your team could do something also about this "local admin" issue.
Keeping my fingers crossed and wishing your team Godspeed with this project.
