I'm afraid there's no setting for that out of the box, but if you use AutoHotkey, you can set your own shortcut to make it "always on top".

Here's the code:

;Select the desired program or window and press Ctrl+Space
^SPACE::
Winset, Alwaysontop, , A
Return

I don't know if it will be addressed at some point, but I would suggest adding it to the Ideas page so people who want the feature can vote for it. In any case, you can have the feature working in a few minutes with the AHK script, rather than having to wait for it to make it to the top of the list of priorities to be included in the program.

I've just set up your AHK Script and it works fine. Thanks for your help. It really drove me mad having to click all the time to call-up the S&R Box. If a simple AHK-Script can solve this issue, why is it obviously such a hassle at SDL? Just a few Lines of code in the software...

Why do you have to make another hotkey ? SDL Trados Studio already has (everybody has) "Ctrl F/H" ?
I suggest you simply override it.
You do not have to make another hotkey without any good reason.

I use a pop menu to keep any window on top, not just the Find & Replace dialog box.

But if I needed to keep on top only that dialog box, I’d do it as you said: overriding the CTRL+F and CTRL+H hotkeys.
