Content list is null. Cannot find last child

Question

Hi 
 My searches of earlier posts highlighted that this is not a new problem but I have only been able to find a solution for Trados 2011. The option not to extract hyperlinks as defined in the relevant KB doesn't (seem to) appear with Trados Studio 2015 Freelance (under Windows 10). I have tried this option but it didn't help. Is there a guide for resolving this is in 2015?

Hello Ian, 
 
It would be useful to know two things: 
 
1. What filetype are you handling? 
2. When does this error occur? 
 
I presume the article you are referring to is this one? 
 
 kb.sdl.com/.../article 
 
This would still apply, but the screenshot for the option was taken relevant to the DOC and old DOCX/PDF filetype I think... at least it looks that way. On other filetypes it's just a simple extract or not checkbox.

Too big? Anyway, did you try unchecking this option? 
 
 You might have to process the file again as a new project after setting this option so this is used when the file is prepared. But give it a go. 
 Also worth noting that it's often better to open a PDF in Studio, close the file and then look in the same folder as the PDF. You'll find a DOCX in there. Clean up the DOCX and translate that instead.
