Why is it cumbersome to find my own posts?

I posted a question yesterday and I'm receiving notifications of answers via email, so I returned here to interact with my posting, but there's no direct link in my account that takes me to "my posts", so I have to search for it. Ugh.

  • Well, hmm. When I click on my name at the top right of the page, I see "Profile", "Settings", and "Sign Out". Where is "Activity"?

When I first opened this window, I saw the little "lightning" icon, but it led nowhere, because it said "you have 0 unread notifications", which was not true, since I had not accessed the answers I received to my question.

After I posted this second question (Why is it cumbersome...), I did see a notification flash that someone had answered, and the lightning showed a number corresponding to the unread answers. I guess the page had not updated for some reason when I first arrived.

So I guess the lightning icon is the way to access unread posts. But if I wanted to read an old post, then I have to find that "Activity" (why is it not part of the top ribbon?). Just commenting that the design of the forum could be improved. I'll mention that in a post on the General Forum.

Thanks for your answers, Paul and Walter.

    Saludos,
    Enrique
