Hi,

it IS possible to associate an SDL Language Resource Template in WorldServer which will allow you to capture all the custom abbreviations that you have defined in SDL Trados Studio and exported. So if you already have your list defined locally, you can add it to your WorldServer instance.

Please contact your WorldServer admin to the documentation for how to configure this, or ask them to log a ticket through SDL Support.

Implement abbreviations lists function in Server TMs

I'm working on 22K words of SW strings in RESX format in a WS package that are riddled with loads of abbreviations causing wrong segmentation. The server administrators tell me it is not possible to feed a list of abbreviations into the TM like it is possible for local TMs.

 

I've literally spent HOURS of entirely unproductive work merging segments based on looking at how the segments are displayed to be split in the print preview, because often enough, this is not even clear while working in Studio.

Can you please implement a function to feed the WS TMs such a list?
