This behaviour does not occur if you are using the new UI Project pages, here the refresh of one open tab has no effect on the other.

Possibility of opening the different Project views in different browser tabs

It's impossible to open the Projects assigned to me view in one tab and the All active projects in another browser tab for example. When doing so, if you refresh one of the two tabs, the other tab is automatically refreshed too. For project managers that are also translators, it's not handy at all. That function would help making WS' user interface more user-friendly.
