Source file(s) should always be part of the Translation package

When downloading the Translation package from WorldServer, the source file(s) is(are) not automatically downloaded with the other files. Only when the creator of the project attach reference materials to the WS project, does the source file(s) folder is created locally, in Studio projects folder.

  • It should indeed be configurable. Currently, as far as I know, the source files are always included in the translation kit (and that's why you can also generate target files or a preview in SDL Studio), unless they're too large (> 20 MB).

  • That 20 MB limit is about including a Base 64 encoded copy of the source file embedded in the SDLXLIFF. Indeed you can extract this from the bilingual files, and decode but it is easier in Studio to take a copy of the package, open the file, Copy All Source to Target and then Save Target, and you end up with a copy of the source file as a pseudo-target file.
