If this was in java, this would work across Operating Systems - I know there are companies out there that do not use Windows OS

In regards to the community review looking for feedback on how often some apps are used, my team rarely if ever uses template builder or workflow designer. We use content porter almost every day.

Now that IE11 is officially dead. It is time for RWS to make content porter cross platform. I did some googling for you (RWS) and found this.

Dominic Cronin, yes we can create an import via core service - we have those, but what about users that need to content port and are on MacBooks? You are saying now they need a developer/developers machine to do this? 

My understanding is that the import/export service was created for the purposes of being able to build our own client if we so desired.

I'm willing to propose building a web-app / electron application that could do this.
