Publish Folders: Status History

    If we support publishing of Folders, I suggest to make it consistent with publishing of Structure Groups (or Bundles):

    • The Publish action creates one Publish Transaction (per Publication): for the Folder itself.
    • The Publish Transaction resolves DCPs for all Components in the given subtree (Folder and all subfolders)
    • TBD: The Publish Transaction resolves to Pages for all Components in the given subtree (Folder and all subfolders) ?

    This is functionally the same as the suggested flow, but using a single Publish Transaction (per Publication) instead separate ones for each Component.

    Is this desirable? How does this relate to the bulk publishing extension which is doing the opposite?
