    As someone that often had the opportunity to define and implement an authorization model, I'd definitely like to see authorization improved.

    But we need a bit more details and examples of what this idea could be and its impact.

    Let me describe some things I understand and then let the community offer their own views, examples, and background.

    • We often set the same Publication Rights for groups across all Publications to simplify the authorization model and troubleshooting
    • The old PowerTools showed Rights for groups and Permissions for Organizational Items in a table format, presumably because it was easier to set these in context
    • "Subgroups" can be used to consolidate Rights, Permissions, or Scope 

    Comments appreciated on how you'd improve authorization or your pain points in configuration rights, permissions, scope, or privileges.
