Crazy, many similar complains. It works for some users, and doesn't for others. Sounds like some dll is missing, or whatever. Yesterday it was solved by simple uninstalling and re-installing the same version (5.2.22). Here are all links, can you just try to download latest one and re-install:

The package that Eugene posted above works for me. I just couldn't do the update through the software itself. I had to uninstall and use the latest package above.

Yes, I could not update through the SW and Eugene had given me the link to v.22, and that is what didn’t start after installation.

I reinstalled from the backup (Windows’s "Previous Version" function at times is a blessing) and now I’back to v.10. Which works.

Hmm, did you get an error message? Or it just wouldn't start? Mine wouldn't start from the update, but when I uninstalled after updating and then reinstalled the whole program, it worked.

It just would not start. Nothing.

I’m not desperate to update, so I’ll wait for Eugene to work his magic.

That's really strange issue. Installing update over installed version leads to impossibility to run application (for some users). While uninstalling current version and installing latest one fixes it and application works. Trying to understand why... But it works this way.

I am not too sure I want to uninstall and reinstall it. I’ll probably wait until you discover the issue :-)

Solved! I found an issue yesterday and managed to solve. New 5.2.23 is now available for download. Won't be describing in detail, but in case of update one single dll was missing, but in case of clean install it was there! So, the problem was in installation mechanism.
