Hello,
Our teams are delighted to announce the newest update to Trados Live Team released last Friday, which offers new and exciting features to all users.
These new features and updates are available automatically, allowing you to start using them right away.
After reviewing extensive user feedback on the available, default workflow template (“Standard Translation & Review”) in Trados Live Team throughout the last months, we’re now excited to introduce the new, optional “Implement Linguistic Review” task for the Linguistic Review stage.
This task, being a human task, allows for additional checks of the translated content before sending a file to the Finalization stage to get the translated, target version is created. In detail, during this task, a user will be able to review, edit and/or request corrections for any changes applied during e.g. the previous “Linguistic Review” task.
To start using this new task, please create a new workflow and make sure to deselect the “Exclude this task” checkbox.
Leveraging our next-gen translation memory upLIFT technology, Online Editor can now display fragment match results from subsegment searching. You will find any fragment recall results in the Lookup pane. This capability can help users leverage fragments for translation where there is no full fuzzy match, which results in increased productivity and consistency.
The Online Editor has been updated to support certain third-party spelling and grammar checking add-ons such as the popular Language Tool (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/grammar-and-spell-checker/oldceeleldhonbafppcapldpdifcinji?hl=en)
This enables users to have third-party spell and grammar checking, as well as synonym suggestions while working in the Online Editor.
Note: This tool is not officially supported, it is just one example that we tested among the tools that can work in text fields in browsers in this way. There may be other tools with similar functionality.
We have now published a Postman collection for the LC Public API which makes it much easier for integrators to get started and test calls.

We hope this post was informative, and we look forward to continuing to provide you with updates to the product.
