Trados Team – 23.02.1 Release

Trados Team – 23.02.1 Release

Hello,

A new update for Trados Team has been released this week, and we'd like to share the newly available functionality with you.

New features and updates are automatically added to your account, so just login to Trados Team to get access to them instantly.

Dynamic Assignment

We have introduced the option to enable Dynamic Assignment for workflows, which can be set as follows:

  • Basic
  • Service type
  • Service type and language pair

The Dynamic Assignment only applies when you have groups assigned to a workflow task. When a workflow task is created, we attempt to identify users within the assigned group(s) that match with the setting specified for Dynamic Assignment. For example, using “Service type and language pair”, the system checks for users in the group(s) that offer both the corresponding service type and language pair for the task and assigns to them. If no matching user(s) is identified, the system looks for users based on service type, and if there is still no matching user identified, it makes the task available to all users within the assigned group(s).

Individual users assigned to a workflow task will not be impacted by the Dynamic Assignment setting and retain visibility of the tasks they are assigned to.

API enhancements

  • We introduced the projectManagers field to enable the selection of individuals or of users groups at project creation.
  • We removed unnecessary outcome values for the Task Completed Request model on the Complete Task operation.
  • You can now specify the projectCreator as an assignee type for a task when updating a project.
  • We will enforce validations related to the following fields at project creation: dueBylocation and languageDirections
These fields will become required in 6 months.

For more details, see the What’s new page in the Public API documentation.
