Issues with SDL Trados Studio 2022

Hello all:

I recently purchased and installed SDL Trados 2022 (Version 17.0.1.11652) on my Windows machine with the current version of Windows 11. There are several problems I have encountered that seem to be related to this particular version of software.

1. SDL Trados Studio crashes if I use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-S to save a file. If I use that shortcut, the program immediately crashes. Surprisingly, if I select File > Save from the menu, or if I click on the "Save" icon on the top of the window, Studio does not crash. It's an annoying bug, because I use Ctrl-S all the time.

I should mention that I use Google Drive to back up files to the cloud, so every time I save a file or close a file on Studio, I get an error message similar to "Access to the path C:\xxxxxxxxxxxx is denied". Perhaps that crash is related to this, but I doubt it, since I did not have this problem when I used Studio 2019.

2. When translating a large file, after finishing the translation, if I attempt to run the spell checker, sometimes the program will crash. I can avoid the immediate crash if I close the file and reopen it in Studio. Even after doing that, if I press F7 to run the spell checker, sometimes when it flags a misspelled word, if I select "Add" to add it to my dictionary, the program will crash. Since it does not happen all the time, it is difficult for me to figure out the cause.

Any help or suggestions you may provide are greatly appreciated.
