Trados Studio 2024 does not open after installing Antidote Plugin 4.0.3.3

I installed and activated Trados Studio 2024 on a user's computer.

It worked ok, then I installed the Antidote plugin ver 4.0.3.3 from the RWS appstore.

Trados Studio will go through the first part of setup, where it creates a default profile, then nothing.

Tried renaming the following files and restarting Trados but no change:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18\BaseSettings.xml
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18\Plugincache.xml
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18\UserSettings.xml

No change after I uninstalled Trados Studio, deleted the C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio18 folder, restarted the computer and then reinstalled Trados 2024.

Used C:\Program Files (x86)\Trados\Plugin installer\Sdl.Community.SdlPluginInstaller.exe to uninstall the plugin but no change.

The user requires Trados Studio with Antidote in order to perform his job function - any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
