Indeed... probably only because it reused the same menu in Studio.

Nope.  I guess it could be looked at, but likely a significant amount of work so I can't see that making it to the top of the list any time soon.  That would be my take on it... but perhaps Lydia Simplicio  has a different view?

If it wasn't for the fact having them in T-Window would allow you to save the results to a TM there would be no point at all... DeepL comes with a Desktop app of its own and I imagine most other providers must be looking at similar capabilities.
