Most likely you don't have a machine translation provider in your project settings.

Thank you. This should work, provided your Open AI is set up correctly. You need to have a license and enter the API key accordingly. Otherwise it won't work.

I have been using OpenAI in many months, the licence or API configuration is not a problem. It is just that it wont work with Batch Task Pre-translate. This is the only problem. It works perfectly when I use it in Editor mode. 
Pre-translate with Open AI as a second option does not work either, so it seems that Open Ai does not work in Pre-translate modus.
Someone else had this problem before and it was recommended to go back to earlier TS versions. I wont do it because I payed for upgrade and this is pointless to go back to the older versions. If this is a bug so it must be fixed in TS 2024 as many experience the same problem.

Have you always been using the min-match value that low? This may be a reason for not applying OpenAI, as you TM may contain matches in this region. For a successful MT translation with an active TM I usually set the min-match value here to 100% and the min-match value in search settings to at least 85%. This forces machine translation for all segments with a match value below 85%. The higher this value in search settings, the more segments will be pretranslated using machine translation.

Yes, because many matches from TM lower than 100 are better than MT. I get your point, but shouldn't the function "When no match found apply automated translation" function anyway? Alle the segments without a match from TM were left empty and they shouldn't be "where the match 89 or higher is not found". Do you agree?
Now, i also checked my match value for Opei AI in the settings and I set it for "80", so anyway it is lower than my TM search ... it should work!

Your prompt says "correct". This will not translate, only correct what's there. Have you tried with another prompts? And also you assign a match value of 80%, but in your pretranslation request the min match value is 89%. Try to set AI match to 90%.

It was just an example. I have several different prompts. Each and every one was set to 80%. 
I set it to 90% now and (as I expected) it made no difference. I dont think the problem lies in my Open Ai settings.
