How to display most recent posts first?

Question

As per subject, this was an issue in the old forum set-up, and appears to be the same in this new one. 
 Am I missing something or do we still have to scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on right arrows to reach the most recent post in a thread?

I'll see if I can reverse the order or only show the last three posts and expand "see all". This is the way Facebook usually does this. There is something to be said for top to bottom reading. I will add this to our next sprint definition as a requirement.

OK , I immediately talked to my developer. Since we need to customize, might as well build what you want. I know Facebook has solved this by showing only the last 4 answers in ascending order and if you want to see more, you can expand. Can you tell me what kind of behavior you want? I can also build a simple descending view, but some people like ascending reading so I should cater for both. I will retain the "answers only" section.

OK, it will probably be cookie based as I have no database field for this setting but I'll get the design requirements added to our development SCRUM ticket and see how fast we can deliver this. If you - in the mean time - have new ideas about this, feel free to post them.
