Event time displays GMT and does not obey profile settings

Question

When creating an event I see the start and end time displayed as GMT. Yet when I drill into the event the time displayed obeys my profile settings. Can the time displayed when creating an event and viewing within a group be the same as my profile TZ? thanks

We just added the time zone to the time indication and checked against your account. It is better but not best. The logic should be that if it is a local event (with a location) then it should show location time and if it is an online event (no location set) that is should show in your time zone. I've already filed an enhancement request with the vendor but we'll probably have to build it ourselves as this is bad CX and we are fanatic about good CX.

Hey David Henriquez . We changed it everywhere we could. The only location it is not showing is in the activity stream because that data is not called in the activity stream so I cannot display it. We would have to build a custom activity stream widget which is a bit of a tall order. 
 
So if this is not a capital sin I hope we can live with the current situation. I'll be posting an enhancement call with the vendor.
