We are currently working with XML files received from SMC tool (SmartMedia Creator). The XMLs often do not fit in the default file size limit (20MB). Is it possible to increase it solely for SMC file type to 50MB?

Please post this into the right place...
Trados Enterprise & Accelerate Ideas
Also note you can extend this to 100Mb in the UI for an SDLXLIFF. I presume this is what you're referring to? If not please spell out what you really mean when you create the idea.

Paul , thank you for your reply, I would be happy to post it to right place, however I am not able to as I am new to the community.
Regarding the request itself, let me provide you more details, we have an external tool SMC which sends XML files that conform with their XSD via the API.
The issue is that these XML files quite often are more than 20MB, therefore we are looking for a way to increase this limit.

You are most likely not paying attention to the red bar at the bottom of the screen that says something like this:
Just click it, agree to whatever you need to agree to and you'll be able to post. It is a bit hidden at the bottom and we have tried to get the forum provider, Verint, to do something about this as we can't do this ourselves.
You need to post into the right place or nobody who needs to see it will!!

Unfortunately, every time I try to submit the idea, all I can see is the following:
With no option to submit an idea.
Did you try submitting one?

Absolutely, I did, but every time I end up on the page I sent before.

ok - now I see the problem. It's not you, it seems that we don't get a warning that you need to be taken off moderation and you don't appear in the moderation queue. This is apparently a bug in the platform with the current version we are have. Many apologies for that... I have now taken you off moderation and the ideas should now be available to you.
Thanks for your patience in persevering with me!!
