What could RWS do differently or better to improve our experience?

Dear colleagues,

After 12 years of collaborating with RWS, I'm excited to join the community. This is my first posting here.

What improvements would enhance our experience with RWS? Here are three suggestions:

1. New Task Handoffs MUST include the offered budget. Linguists need this information to determine job acceptance. It's one of the most important aspects. Requesting budget details separately wastes time for both linguists and project managers.

2. RWS should restore the acceptance of invoices from linguists and include invoice numbers, in addition to PO's, in all payment information. I, as well as most of my colleagues, use Translation Office 3000. This management sofware allows freelance translators handling their administrative tasks. I can find all invoices in seconds by their numbers. To do the same with PO's numbers is a real headache and again wastes my time. Furthermore, rejecting invoices leads to frequent errors from RWS accounting department.

3. RWS should stop using the AURORA platform for generating PO's: they are so weird that I can hardly if at all understand them.

What are your thoughts on my suggestions?
