General FAQ Answers

Hi,

I started tasks with RWS October 1st 2025, and it has been confusing navigating several issues that I'd like to address to perhaps help.

  • I started working 10/1/2025 and have yet to be paid. It took almost a month of sending tickets and emails to even understand that I had been classified as a Freelancer. So make sure that you know what you are because this affects payment. There was no obvious wording of being either one in Workzone so I think this can be improved upon by RWS. Freelancers are paid 30 days after work orders are created; they are not given Tipalti links because their payment details should appear in Workzone. This was also an issue because I received no Tipalti links and there was no 'Payment Details' tab appearing until they had to create it manually when I emailed them. Private Individuals are paid within 14 days of the creation of a work order. When work orders are created, you should receive an email alert with links to view it in the BPP portal.
  • RWS provides many emails & documents to you upon onboarding. It helps to read these. Especially for payment issues. Freelancers are responsible for creating an invoice of all their work orders combined for the month in order to get paid. Some must also create a Progress Report if they are working on outside platforms. Creating an invoice is rather simple. The invoice number is any numbers and/or letters of your choosing for your own recordkeeping. Please read all materials.
  • My onboarding was pretty quick and until now I have had plenty of work. I worked 70+ hours in October on the Multimango/Diamond project. I believe there are many work availability fluctuations depending on project needs and worker backgrounds so it's helpful to have other income sources to cut down on frustration. Right now, no tasks are available for me. I know that because the task pane on the left side of the screen when I log into Multimango is empty.
  • You can submit a form or email to RWS/your talent managers, or create a ticket to ask that you be changed, for example, from a Freelancer to a Private Individual. If you have outstanding work orders, you should create an invoice under your old status as a Freelancer until the change takes effect. You can email RWS asking for an expedited payment for a 2% fee, which applies only to Freelancers. There is a link to your talent managers on the Workzone home page, and an email for project management is provided on work orders. As a Freelancer, the payment details tab in Workzone must be activated so that you can submit your banking information. Your generated invoice will display your payment date, which, for me, was based on the date of Nov 9th when I generated it.
  • If you are classified as a Private Individual, you should receive Tipalti links within 2 weeks of setting up Workzone and receiving your introductory emails. Wait at least 2 weeks.
  • For the Diamond Project there is a time tracking form, a form that you submit for the hours you work each day. But, generally, you should be keeping track of the days and hours you worked. I, for instance, had 8 hours missing on one work order. I submitted a form and RWS was prompt in addressing it but a new work order hasn't yet been created or amended. The communication in RWS is not very good, so again, it helps to have other sources of income. But be patient and consistent and communicative on your end because, well, that's all we can do and control.

Hope this helps!

  • I don’t understand the point of this post? I’m missing over 20 hrs and I’m supposed to be patient why? We issued our hours in a Google form that we can never see or modify after entering the hours. THEN when you track your own hours and submit the form saying your missing hours which is attached to your NAVID then you get an email from the “CEO” basically saying its our fault after complaints on LinkedIn starting making them look bad. I have ZERO issues with Tilpalti the only issue I have is with RWS not paying me correctly or in a timely fashion. I’m out of patience and last time I checked patience doesn’t pay bills.

  • I agree that RWS communication is very poor, as I noted in my post. I myself have taken measures to make these concerns public via sites like Trust Pilot, and I will continue to do so as long as I encounter difficulty for work completed without payment, because that is a serious labor concern in terms of illegality. But for my personal situation, my issue stems with non-payment, yes, but more so a lack of communication, and poor and conflicting information. For instance, I wasn't even aware that I was classified as a Freelancer, which could've explained the delay a lot sooner. But I also noted in my post that patience and proactivity and discretion is also needed. I would no longer depend on an opportunity like this for stability because it is unstable. For your personal situation, I advise continuing to be proactive in recovering what ever money and time is owed to you and finding another more stable opportunity with payment and communication consistency.

  • Kindra,

I appreciate your reply honestly and the communication is by far the worst I’ve encountered which is so strange because it didn’t use to be this way and that’s what’s so frustrating it’s like day and night. Then you have people who get on here that work for RWS and respond to your post and literally do nothing further it’s performative. I reacted because I have bills and at the point of losing it all and you’re right you can’t depend on this community but I actually used to be able to. People use to respond to emails and escalate things in a timely manner the fact that I’m still waiting for pay for MISSING HOURS from mid October is insane and in a private individual so I should have got paid 2 weeks ago. I hope it all works out for you though and we’re able to find a community that pays on time and respects contract workers as people too.
