A project manager is a customer-facing role while a translator tends to work alone. As someone with a translation background, how do you deal with the different job nature?
From my perspective, i have done freelance translation on the side in the past, but generally one of the reasons i didn't do that permanently is exactly for that reason - i like the human interaction.

"From my side, I think translation can also be a very collaborative job, even if you are a freelancer. You can network with other translator friends and even the PMs you work with! But I also like the human interaction, like Bonnie said, and this is also another reason why I ended up in project management"
