No, this is not similar to a full-time job and can be combined with studying or working on something else. Please note, that if you are still a student we do require that you are at least in your final year of your Master's.
Time dedicated to training can be adjusted depending on workloads of both mentor and trainee. I usually send one practice project per week that will require 1-3 hours of work from the trainee. Then feedback via email / call of about 30 min or so. I estimate 3-5 hours per week, but it can be done faster or slower as needed.
