Hi Lili Liu
The training online available from this link https://www.trados.com/learning/training/post-editing-machine-translation.html it is an elearning one and therefor the time to complete it depends on how much time you have available , as you can stop, pause at any time.
Hi! The RWS Post-Editing Certification takes about an hour to complete, you can access it via the link below or the updated link here: Post-Editing Machine Translation Training (rws.com). You can either complete it in one go or as Ana-Loredana says, you can pause at any time. At the end of each section there is a short quiz so you can complete individual sections.
Post-editing is a different process from translation: it is a process where a human translator edits a machine-translated text. The MT output is post-edited to reach a pre-defined quality goal. This final quality goal depends on the text or the document that is being post-edited and on the required post-editing level. Post-editing is an additional skillset and offering on top of standard human translation. Post-editing is very much in demand in the localization industry and can help translators to find new opportunities.
