Is joining AI community a good way to start a career in AI?
I would say yes. If someone is interested into AI in general then this is a good opportunity to learn the basics of how AI training works. You can start with the easier stuff, and then work up to the more complex ones which gives you a lot of insights and knowledge around the processes and procedures.
So I would say it's a good start if for example you want work in the future in project coordination, or vendor management roles. Vendor Managers focus on building relationships between a company and its partners, so if someone is a people person then I think it would also be a good start because of the experience gained collaborating with people from all over the world.
