For a tester... I'm not sure. speak three languages, and as I was learning number 2 and 3 there is a point where we mix them. For a tester we want to focus on one language and one culture in particular. Take French France and French Canada for example... two different poeople, two different cultural backgounds. It is two different languages. The same for Portuguese.
So I would say it wouldn't hurt, but it's not exactly a benefit. For a Test Lead it's definitely a benefit
