I have transcribed the response from the presentation by Jennifer Cajina-Grigsby:
"I think being aware that there are people out there who don't have as much information available as you think you have; and then supporting organisations like TWB through ClearGlobal is an easier first step. If you work for a company that only provides information only in English then making sure that they use plain language means that when your products reach people in a non-English speaking country the people there will be better able to understand it. That's a good first step as mainstream language speakers, but also being aware that you have a priviledge and advantages because of the information that you have available to you too."
