Do you have any advice how to start a career as a translator after graduation since it is tricky cause everyone demand some kind of previous experience which you cannot get through the university itself?

    Hi Antonija,

Yes, it is hard at the start, we have all been thereBlush
While you may be looking for a paid job, your best bet to enter an organisation is by seeking an internship within a company to gain experience. You may also offer some volunteering freelancing if they don’t have inhouse staff.
You got to think first about building experience by investing to work for “free” and you will reap the benefits at a later stage.
I would suggest that you revise the tips that we shared in the session Career paths in localization - translator that we hosted and do some networking where you will find job opportunities and peer support along the way.

    Best of luck
