The threat of AI to interpreting?

Would you say that the interpreter is threatened by the latest advances in artificial intelligence?

  • I'd just like to add quickly, going back on-site after being remote for a couple of years we've seen how much it's made a change to people who are feeling really good about being on-site and having the human contact with everyone else. I think having the interpreter on-site as well is very valuable so I don't think we should feel too threatened by this.
