BCM indeed loads the full file. You have the alternative to use HTML format and specify segmentBatchSize if you want to translate in smaller chunks.

2 minutes is already too long for synchronous operations and raising it even further is not a feasible solution.

Hi Radu! 2 minutes timeout is reasonable with classic MT providers, but with the LLM providers it's becoming unpredictable if we get MT Failure in the task or not. Considering that file can be huge and BCM loads it full,

It's not possible to increase it in general or in specific for an engine or endpoint. Your best option is switching to HTML format, unless you have a requirement that can be satisfied only by using BCM files.

Yep, we have a requirements that can only be satisfied by BCM.

Is it possible to leave a feature request somewhere? About increasing timeout? Or, maybe, about adding async translation?

The thing we need is to provide our clients with good quality translations using LLM with a few custom features based on BCM and now it's basically impossible to guarantee the translation results with these limitations.
