Display Progress Image when doing background process?

Hi,

I have plugin developed for Trados Studio 2017 with Custom ribbon and view parts controls. 

I need to display progress bar and stop user from interacting with Studio user clicks on any screen till my background process is over.

Would help if any such example is provided?

I have attached screenshot of what the final output screen should look like.
