Dear all,
When I run the SDK installer, it does not add the plugin template under the C# templates of the "New project" window.
Is this a bug, or is there no integration in VSE 2013 yet or am I doing something wrong?

please forget my question. I could fix the problem by changing the template location in Visual Studio under Tools-->Options-->Project and solutions.

could you share how exactly you solved the issue? The thing is that I have the same issue and I have no clue where to point my template path to see these templates.

Dear Tom,
Under Tools--> Options, select Project and solutions --> General.
On this option screen, change the path under User project templates locations to the following path
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\SDL\SDLOpenExchange2013\3.0\ProjectTemplates
I did a restart of VSE and then I could see both SDL templates under the new C# project templates.

many thanks - I am now seeing the templates as well! Very well hidden location but logical. I have to finally switch to C# it seems in order write a plugin (which is logical as Studio is written in C# not in VB, which is my main language).

I am happy that I could help.
I was in the same situation as you last year. My main programming language was VB.Net and I started learning C# to use the SDL API.
No worry, there are not that many differences with VB.Net. The most frustrating at the beginning, when coming from VB.Net, is that you keep forgetting the semicolons and the curley brackets ;-)
